17 – 40 mm with Canon5 D mark III, on the tripod in the hip high sea water, the waves were crashing on me and my tripod. After I got back to my hotel room , I did have to take my tripod apart and make sure that I washed everything before I put it back together. You don’t want to leave salty water drying on any of your Equipment , clan your camera and lenses with a wet towel.
